Sentiment Analysis on Trending Keywords for January 16-31, 2021

Blueprint.PH gathered the top 50 trending keywords in Facebook daily from January 16 to 31, 2021. The sentiment analysis on trending keywords collected around 250 keywords, with a total of 869 posts for the span of 15 days. Among Facebook favorites, The keywords: 500yearsofchristianity, banalnamisa, bts, coronavirus, covid19, minorbasilicaoftheblacknazarene, onlinemass, quiapochurch appeared daily. At the same time, The keywords True Beauty, KMJS, Covid-19, and BTS got into number 1 three times. Mambaforever (Kobe Bryant), Defend UP, Asapasone, and Quiapo Church were also number 1 at certain days.

The theme faith covers keywords such as Catholic, Catholic saints, Poong Nazareno, Christianity, Jesus, Mary, etc. These words and related words also had the highest posts over the month. Coming closely are the post covering Korean entertainment. Closely following faith is Korean entertainment. Kpop, K drama ang K actors fans are active posting, sharing, commenting and reacting to their favorite Korean artists.

Sports, particularly NBA and gaming, specifically Mobile Legends got nearly 15% of the total data points. For the past weeks, Filipino facebook users remembered the demise of crowd-favorite NBA Star, Kobe Bryant. At the same time, celebrated the win in Mobile Legends Bang Bang by a Filipino team. Covid-19 stayed among the top keywords. Covid-19 was number one in trending topics three times within this period, and is present as a trending keyword everyday.

More keywords were list under the themes of local entertainment, social media, influencers, some inspiring or positive hashtags, brand names, movies, and anime.
