Wowowin, takes the top spot for the third time as the most talked-about local entertainment show among Filipinos. es.Wowowin had been the top most talked-about local entertainment show among Filipino FB members for April with an engagement score of 1,615,939. Wowowin topped the rankings on January and February, placing second to Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho in March. The daily variety show regularly stream’s its episodes live on Facebook and encourage engagement by giving out prizes. Wowowin’s April 9 episode had the highest engagement at 92,248 engagement score.
Moving down to second place in April 2021 is Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS). KMJS has an engagement score of 780,376, and was consistently on the top 10 every month. There were 257 posted mentions, tags, and stories on KMJS for the month of April which were shared 322,000 times. The top trending post with an engagement score of 94,212 was from the official page: a photo post with title “Be beautiful, inside and out. #KMJS”.
On third spot with 287,278 engagement score is “First Yaya”, a TV drama story of an ordinary woman who gets to lead an extraordinary life as the nanny of the children of the Vice-President of the Philippines. First Yaya has 646 posts during the month, and with over two million reactions. The most engaging post was a highlight from one of it’s episodes posted by its top influencer GMA Drama.
Promotional teasers with high engagements
Ranking fourth with 175,521 engagement score is “He’s Into Her”, a romantic comedy series based on the 2013 novel by Maxinejiji. ”He’s Into Her”, which will start to stream on May 28, has been talked about in Facebook resulting to high engagement for the show and made it to the TOP 4. A teaser posted by I Want TFC on its official Facebook page generated the most engagement with an engagement score of 67,452.
“He’s Into Her” is also one of two on-demand/streaming shows that had made it to the top 10.
“Raffy Tulfo in Action” ranked 5th for the month with 130,157 engagement score. Two hundred fifty-nine stories (259) were posted about the show for the month generating more than 516,000reactions and 225,000 shares.

Ranking 6th is the daily noon time show “It’s Showtime” with 117,047 engagement score. ”Babawiin ko ang lahat”, a TV drama series, ranked 7th with 70,259 engagement score. At number 8 is the Sunday variety show “ASAP Natin ‘to” with 47,412 engagement score.
Another on-demand/streaming show, the 2015 movie “The Prenup”, ranked number 9 with an engagement score of 26,972.
News and current affairs show “Frontline Pilipinas” held the number 10 spot with 22,196 engagement score.
