Wowowin is on the top spot as having the highest number of engagements in  Facebook on the category local entertainment tv shows for the month of February 2021. This is according to Blueprint.Ph’s monthly sentiment analysis on local tv entertainment shows, which resulted to a total of 10 million data points on using the titles of the tv shows as keywords. Data points are all the posts, comments, shares and emoticon reactions — like (👍), love (❤️), Haha (😆), sad () and angry (😡).

On number 1 is Wowowin where Kuya Will and Wowowin had 3.9 million data points from 557 number of posts.

Facebook Live

Most trending posts for Wowowin were live feeds from the show and is streamed on its official Facebook page.  The show encourages engagements by giving out prizes through participation in the comments with #TutoktoWinsaWowowin section of the live feed.

The highest performing posts was its February 15 episode with  524 thousand talking about count, 132 thousand comments, 100 thousand reactions, and 40 thousand share counts.  The Official Facebook Page has a fan count of about 10.4 million.

Consistent trending keyword #TututoktoWinsaWowowin is  used on all of the show’s live feed where  audiences are encouraged to type the keyword followed together with their phone number to get a chance to win prizes.

Dabarkads at number two

The nation’s longest running noontime show, Eat Bulaga comes in second with 3 million data points and 562 posts. Eat Bulaga will be celebrating it’s 42nd anniversary in July this year.

The influencers for Eat Bulaga are its Official Page, and GMA News.  The post with the highest engagement is a photo taken from the set of the show with captions “Dabarkads! Sabay-sabay tayong mag-Eat Bulaga ngayong Wednesday Tanghalianan!”. Another top post was from GMA News,  which is a photo showing  Tito, Vic and Joey together for the first time after almost a year.

TVJ-Reunion post by GMA-7 had 285 thousand talking about points, two thousand shares, and 103 thousand reactions.

Love and Anger

It’s Showtime stories got the most number of love and at the same time most number of angry reactions as they settle for the third spot on most trending keywords on Facebook.  The show also had the most number of posts for the month at 951 with 1.9 Million data points.

The top trending stories for the show include a video post by the show’s Official  Facebook Page and a news post by PEP.PH about It’s Showtime’s lead host Anne Curtis being back in the Philippines with her family after staying in Australia for a year.
