The strong Catholic faith of Filipinos dominate Facebook posts in the whole month of July, with topics relating to Quiapo church and Mama Mary, along with keywords Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene and Poong Nazareno, according to BluePrint.ph scan of top ten trending posts from July 15 to 31.

Quiapo Church and Mama Mary are the top trending topics during the first two weeks of July.

GMA-7’s teleserye “Äpoy sa Langit,” with actors Zoren Legaspi and Maricel Laxa is on the second spot. The trending episode titled: “The Confrontation,” had the highest engagement with 7.8 views on Facebook.

Korea’s all girl K-pop group “Blackpink,” is on the third spot with its most anticipated comeback announcement trailer “Born Pink,”which gained 4.2 million views on Facebook.

At the 4th spot is BTS, the global superstar boyband has kept its spot on the top 10, as members pursued individual activities. Jhope’s performance at Lollapalooza, the upcoming release of Memories 2021 and the revival of Bangtanzip, a Facebook exclusive content are among the top engaging posts about BTS released at the second half of the month.

The controversial movie: “Maid in Malacanang,”is on the 5th spot, followed by Jeepney TV on the 6th where another teleserye: “A Family Affair,” is being shown.

Facebook users also engage actively on the women’s volleyball with posts about the AFF Women’s Championship win, and Premier Volleyball League both on 7th spot.

Abs-cbn’s longtime running teleserye: “Ang Probinsyano,”gets the 8th spot alongside with Kapamilya Channel on the 9th spot.

K-drama: “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” which tackles the challenges of a brilliant lawyer Woo Young-woo, a woman in the autism spectrum is on the 10th spot.  It is being shown on Netflix.
