With Lebron James leading an MVP campaign, they seek to dominate the Western Conference through their well-stacked team with stellar names such as Anthony Davis, Denis Schroeder and the like.   Second is the Golden State Warriors, with Stephen Curry having lit up the league silencing his doubters, posting a career-high 62 points cementing his claim that his prime hasn’t passed yet. On third is the Brooklyn Nets, whose trade has lit up the league with the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden seeking to bring a ring in Brooklyn.

A surprise inclusion is the Orlando Magic at fourth, who appear to be struggling tremendously with unfortunate injuries to their players such as Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon and many more.

The Miami Heat are Fifth with them being the talk of the town due to them appearing to be struggling without a leader in the court namely Jimmy Butler. With Butler back, Miami hopes to turn their losing record around with their very young core having a veteran on the floor. On sixth is the Cleveland Cavaliers who have been back to rebuilding after Lebron’s second departure from his hometown.

Led by Colin “Young Bull” Sexton, Andre Drummond, Darius Garland, Cedi Osman they are surprising the league by putting up a fight everytime they play. The Spurs on Seventh seems to show that there is still a solid local fanbase despite the departure of their legends Parker, Ginobili and Duncan. They hold a young core of Keldon Johnson, Dejounte Murray with veterans such as Demar Derozan and Lamarcus Aldridge leading the way.

The Kings at eighth have been making noise too mainly due to their star rookie Tyrese Haliburton, whose scouts had doubts whether his jumpshot will translate into the league. Despite Buddy Hield’s slump compared to his campaign last year, DeAaron “Swipa” Fox has been balling out and has a claim at the All-Star Game.

At ninth sits the Milwaukee Bucks wherein the franchise has made some noise by committing a Supermax contract to Giannis Antetokounmpo worth 228.2 million dollars, the highest ever contract in the history of the NBA. The MVP/Defensive Player of the Year hopes to conquer the East.

The Utah Jazz sit at tenth, with them having the best record in the league, wherein Donovan Mitchell has been balling and the Jazz have maintained a winning streak. Data points can also be seen talking about Rudy Gobert’s huge contract, which does not sit well for a lot of people and has been considered a “highway robbery” by some due to Gobert not being able to put up All-Star stats for what he is being paid for…. a humongous 205 million dollars for a center with subpar offense.
