Popular young actor Daniel Padilla is the Filipino male artist that tops Filipinos’ Facebook posts on local entertainment celebrities, according to big data analytics conducted by the campaign consultancy and management firm BluePrint.PH.

Based on its analysis of close to 10.9 million data points for the month of February 2021 representing all posts, comments, shares and emoticon reactions — like (👍), love (❤️), Haha (😆), sad () and angry (😡), posts by Filipino Facebook users about Daniel Padilla amounted to 3.9 million data points. These included 35,000 comments, 216,000 shares and some 3.6 million emoticon reactions to 765 stories posted across the social media site.

Katniel Fans went gaga over a photo post by the actor’s official fan page with captions “We’ll run away together We’ll spend some time forever”. The photo showed the couple enjoying a swim together at El Nido, Palawan. The post had the highest engagement score for the actor with 21 thousand, one thousand comments, 13 thousand shares and 70 thousand talking about points.


Actor Joshua Garcia followed Padilla in second place as top male celebrity topic for Facebook posts of Filipinos, as he accounted for 665 posts, 47,000 comments, 133,000 shares, and 1.2 million reactions for a total of 1.3 million data points.

This post from the arts and entertainment page Cinema Bravo generated 77,000 engagement score with 5,000 comments, 69,000 shares and 70,000 reactions.

Taking the third spot as the mpst talked about male celebrity in Facebook is Dingdong Dantes. Posts by Filipinos about the Kapuso actor generated 952,000 engagements out of 591 posts.

Among the top Facebook post about Dingdong Dantes was an Instagram Valentine’s Day post by the actor that was shared to the public by his wife, actress Marian Rivera via her official Facebook page. This post generated 9,600 engagements, with 626 comments, 319 shares, and 92,000 emoticon reactions.
