BluePrint.ph – a Manila-based Research and Communications firm uses artificial intelligence as listening tools in scanning more than 80 million publicly available Facebook accounts from the Philippines. Let’s take a look at what’s trending on Facebook in the first two weeks of July.
Global super group BTS followed as the most engaging topics, with the release of member Jhope’s album Jack in the Box and Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s collaboration, “Left and Right.” The group’s new game app: In The Seom”, featuring BTS members themselves are also a hot topic on Facebook. Landing in the third spot is the GMA-7’s Teleserye: ApoysaLangit, led by MaricelLaxa and Zoren Legaspi. UAAP Season 84 was also a hot topic at 4th rank, most especially about volleyball. Kapuso mo Jessica Soho ranked 5th in the trending topic, followed by FPJ’s “Ang Probinsyano,” at number 6. Kapamilya channel is at number 7, showing that posts and engagement on Philippine TV shows are active among the Filipino Facebook users and audience.
K-pop idols Tomorrow x Together, who are set to have a concert in Manila this October and Black Pink’s Lisa who attended the Celine Fashion Show in Paris have taken the 8th and 9th spots. Sharing the 9th spot is P-pop idols SB 19 with the most talked about performance for Adidas and Acer.
The 10th trending topic is SalamatPRRD, as thanked President Duterte.
