For the month of March 2021, Blueprint PH tallied the most trending games of the month in Facebook Philippines.
Placing first is the everlasting Mobile Legends, which has been the strongest mainly due to its accessibility and ease of understanding especially for newbies. It has a strong Esports scene locally and has produced top Filipino world-class esports athletes that consistently place in international tournaments.
At 2nd place is Dota 2, the game which a lot of Filipinos claim to be the national pastime of the country. It is deeply ingrained in Filipino culture, as it is a team 5v5 based MOBA that is loved by many. The game has also produced Filipino esports athletes that play for millions of dollars on the line.
Placing third is Valorant, the new FPS offering of Riot Games. A 5v5 competitive based first person shooter that acquires elements from LoL and CS:GO, Valorant is one of the most viewed esports here locally and has a thriving local scene. A lot of CS:GO Players have moved to Valorant for a new start.

At 4th is Call of Duty and is always trending due to the accessibility of COD: Mobile and the fun of playing Call of Duty: Warzone. Both of these games are from the Call of Duty franchise, the FPS game that has taken the console market by storm as these are free to play and easily accessible to those willing to download its huge files.
At 5th is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a competitive FPS based off the 1999 Half-Life mod Counter-Strike. It has a global following and even locally hosts tournaments that have some prize money. The gameplay is mostly based on teamwork and having a huge round impact in every way possible where communication is vital towards the next move of the team.
Placing 6th is League of Legends, the famous 5v5 MOBA taking elements from DotA and incorporating its own kind of gameplay. It is always trending due to it being free-to-play, and is very noob friendly. One selects a Champion to play into Summoner’s Rift, leading his/her team to victory through destroying the Nexus, the main structure of the enemy.
In seventh place is Minecraft, a survival first-person game that revolves around acquiring supplies, surviving the wild and building a camp/shelter to protect one’s character from the elements. It is very popular amongst the youth and its multiplayer variant has millions of fans globally hooked as they get a chance to play Minecraft with their friends through the interconnectivity of the game.
At 8th is PUBG, namely PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds. Its popularity has tremendously dwindled from its massive release back in 2017, where it took the gaming world by storm. It is still being talked about mainly due to the popular mobile variant PUBG: Mobile, which is played by millions of Filipinos through their mobile phones with their friends. It is one of the go-to games of Filipinos whenever they’re mobile gaming.

In 9th place is Roblox, an online gaming platform that allows a player to play a custom game mode created by another player and and is played by 164 million active users as of August 2020, with half of them being under 16. It is also famous and popular amongst the Filipino youth as it is child-friendly and accessible to people who have gaming setups.
At 10th place is Among Us, a multiplayer online game centered on finding who is the murderer amongst a group of people placed amongst themselves in 1 complex. Its popularity has also dwindled due to it not having a thriving esports scene as its novelty has worn off already. For a game that is very limited in terms of what a player can do it’s quite a surprise that people are still talking about this game because it’s looking like it’s going to face the same fate as Fall Guys, another game that blew up and quickly lost all steam after people got bored of it.
