Sherwin "Win" Ting Gatchalian
Senator from 2019, Valenzuela's Sherwin Gatchalian is son of leading Filipino-Chinese entrepreneur William Gatchalian. Elected as Representative for the 1st District of Valenzuela from 2001 to 2004; he ran and took over as Mayor of Valenzuela City from 2004 to 2013, and then ran again to become the city's congressional representative.
