Francis "Chiz" Escudero
Governor of Sorsogon 2019 to present; Senator from 2007 to 2019; Representative for Sorsogon's 1st district from 1998 to 2007. Son of the respected former Agriculture Minister and Sorsogon Rep. Salvador Escudero, Chiz Escudero is a graduate of Georgetown University and a lawyer. Married to popular actress Heart Evangelista, he ran in the 2016 elections for Vice-President under Grace Poe but lost. He is credited for being a tough opposition leader that fought against corruption during the Arroyo Administration.
